 CSI CHAPTER

The mission of the CSI is to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT professionals, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. The CSI is also working closely with other industry associations, government bodies and academia to ensure that the benefits of IT advancement ultimately percolate down to every single citizen of India.

The computer Society of India student chapter was inagurated on 13 February 2009, Dr Sasikumar from free software foundation was the chief guest and gave talk on free software and its advantages , Mrs Mini Ulanat Regional co-ordinator of Region 7 also addressed the students. Rev Fr Thomas Melekudy the manager gave the presidential address .The Director T.S .Chacko, Principal Dr M.G Gracius also spoke on the occasion. There are at present 125 members . Prizes for interdepartmental Quiz competitions were also distributed.     Mr.     K. J.Tejy (Asst Professor) was the co-ordinator for the event .There are 125 student members.
