The department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2001.The department aims at enhancing technical and professional competency as well as  aids in inculcating moral and ethical values among students. The alacrity of the students to learn makes it easier for the department of computer science and engineering to produce  top-notch engineers who are being recruited by companies all over the world.

     Department Objectives

  • Excel in all aspects of academic research and produce a high quality science based professionals and enhance their general skills in logical and analytical understanding.
  • To provide the students with ability to perform analysis , specification, design and implementation of quality computer solutions
  • To provide opportunities to gain practical experience in computer technologies , using the latest and modern software and hardware..
  • To instill within the students the technical, communicative and character skills that will prepare them not just for technical roles but for leadership roles as well
  • To assist the students in their career placements by setting up multiple on campus placements. 

           The department is offering both Post Graduation as well as Under Graduation courses. The department has around 468 students, 29 teaching and 12 non teaching staffs  who teach how to think rather than what to think. The students are not only trained in academic excellence but are also encouraged to acquire industry exposure through in-plant training sessions. The learning atmosphere being more practical oriented makes the transition from an educational institution to an industry effortless
