DEPARTMENT LIBRARY

               Department Library is one of the Departmental support services of Viswajyothi College of Engg. And Tech in addition to the Central Library. The library provides access to various full texts, journals and magazines. The Department library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROM, books, journals, project reports, seminar reports etc. The mission of the Central library is to provide information services and access to academic resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the Department's user community.   

The library has a collection of more than 900 books, 60 CDs and other magazines. The collection of books is strong in all the aspects of Electronics and Communication Engineering with respect to the academic syllabus. All the students and staffs of ECE Department can avail this facility.

The library opens on all working days. The book issue days to students are TUESDAY and FRIDAY (12.35 PM to 1.25 PM and 4.15 PM to 4.45 PM).

DEPARTMENT LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS
  • The department library will be open on all days during intervals for reference purposes.
  • Students should always wear their Identity cards when they enter the library.
  • A book is issued for a maximum period of 1 month.
  • Every student entering the department library has to sign the visitors' register.
  • Marking and defacing of any publication is strictly forbidden. The loss of any book has to be reported to the staff in charge and the book has to be replaced by a new copy.
  • Eatables and drinks are not allowed in the library premises.
  • The borrowed book has to be returned within 30 days after which it can be renewed again for a month.
  • In case of books returned after the due date, a late fee will be charged at a rate of Re 0.50 per day.
  • All readers are required to maintain strict discipline and silence in the library.
  • Don't misplace books and publications from the shelves.
  • Journals and periodicals are not issued to the students for outside reference.
